Probabilistic Load Profile Model for Public Charging Infrastructure to Evaluate the Grid Load

The shift toward electric mobility in Germany is a major component of the German climate protection program. In this context, public charging growing importance, especially high-density urban areas, which causes an additional load on distribution grid. order to evaluate impact and prevent possible overloads, realistic models are required. Methods for implementing such their application context grid research topics that only minorly addressed literature. This paper aims demonstrate entire process chain from selection modelling method implementation model within case study. Applying stochastic approach, points modelled via probabilities determine start charging, plug-in duration, charged energy. Subsequently, profiles calculated, integrated into energy system applied analyze effects high density study highlights implemented probabilistic profile model, but also reveals its limitations. primary results identification evaluation relevant criteria as well demonstration comparison real processes. By publishing determined calculating profiles, comprehensive tool provided.
